  • PCI or PCIe extension card parallel ports
  • PCMCIA or Cardbus card parallel ports
  • USB-to-parallel adapters
  • other standard parallel port addresses than 378h/IRQ7 or 278h/IRQ5
  • EPP 1.7 mode
  • interrupt usage on Windows Vista (results in a lower transfer speed)
