- See the sticker at the bottom of the UAD or UAD2 or
- Power on the UAD/UAD2 with TraceBoard option and use the TraceBoardCfg Tool or
- Disconnect any target, power on the UAD/UAD2 and open a Workspace with a target configuration using the UAD/UAD2
- when connection fails, push the "View" button or open the __connection_failed_report*.txt file
- scroll down to
- Communication device:
Type/Revision: UAD, HW-Revision: Serial Number: XXXXXX.

- Start Onboard debug session
- scroll back in Command View: MSG: Fv66TargIntf: fast-PC67C/PCI, SN: XXXXXX or
- Open the Device Manager and the Properties page of the "fast-PC67C/PCI High Speed Communication Card"
- find out the Production Number PN from the Firmware page
- Calculate the Serial Number SN by the format ??-X?XX-XXX?
- Sample: PN 10-0596-7250 => ??-0?96-725? => SN 096725
