MSG: C166SV2TargIntf: CRC checksum failed
While downloading of a program code the target pattern are checked via
a CRC checksum algorithm. If the check fails the message above will
occur. The reasons may be - instable communication
- wrong adjusted memory area.
Please note that the UDE demo version 1.7.7
(Starterkit) for C166S V2 (XC16x) contains a bug within the CRC sum
calculation in context with odd program section size. Although the
download was executed correctly the error message above will be
displayed. Workaround: - Disable the CRC checksum via the menu 'Config - Debug Server Configuration - Download - Execute CRC Check for downloaded ranges'.
- Update your UDE version.
